Finding the right school is hard enough, but figuring out what it actually costs, and whether it’s worth it, shouldn’t be. We cover more than most online schools include by default: teachers, a personal support specialist, the learning platform, and extracurriculars all come with the plan. Here’s what you need to know about our online tuition before you enroll.
We are a fully online private educational institution in the UAE. It is not a tutoring service, not a homeschooling platform, and definitely not a course marketplace.
Students across the UAE get qualified teachers, a dedicated Learning Support Specialist, live classes, and a US High School Diploma that universities, employers, and military institutions recognize globally. The school also serves learners in 15+ countries internationally from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
On top of the WASC accreditation, we also hold College Board Level I status (School Code: 000114) and is listed by the Florida State Education Department.
Our fees depend on the learning plan and grade level. Here is what our school offers:
This is our most affordable tuition option. Your children learn the curriculum at their own pace, with two free teacher consultations per month included. If more support is needed, additional tutoring runs $25/hour, which means there are no live classes, but you get full access to the course of study and teacher feedback.
Group Learning is available for Elementary (K–5), Middle School (Grades 6–8), and High School (Grades 9–12). Classes are live, teacher-led, and capped at 15 students, so it’s nothing like sitting in a 30-person classroom. The 1:15 teacher-to-student ratio means a space where students actually get attention.
Part-time students take 3 credits per year (three courses) through group-learning classes. It works well for high school pupils who just need a few more credits to meet graduation requirements.
Children with IEP/504 support needs have their own dedicated group plans, led by qualified IEP teachers at 10 hours per week. It is worth knowing that all IEP pupils must be able to communicate verbally.
AP courses carry additional material costs on top of standard school education. A few examples: AP Biology runs $50 per student for the e-text; AP Calculus AB/BC costs $20 per student per year.
This is the part most school websites skip. Here’s what every enrollee gets as part of their quality education:
That last point matters, because a lot of online institutions hand families a login and leave them to figure out the rest.
Anyone who’s looked into private schools in the UAE knows the real cost rarely matches what’s on the brochure or the website. Our school is built differently.
| Cost Factor | Legacy | UAE Private Institutions |
|---|---|---|
| Seat reservation fee | None | Standard |
| Residency proof | Not required | Required |
| Campus and transport | None | Significant annual cost |
| Curriculum | US (FLVS) | British, CBSE, Indian, Cambridge |
| Enrollment timing | Any time | Fixed academic year |
| Class size | Max 15, 1:15 ratio | Varies |
Private institutions across the UAE can run into tens of thousands of dirhams annually once all costs are tallied. Our virtual learning platform ensures that UAE families get accredited, teacher-led education for their children without sacrificing the quality of education.
We use a US American curriculum developed by Florida Virtual School (FLVS), a state-approved provider covering Kindergarten through Grade 12. It’s a different track from the British national curriculum, CBSE, or Indian educational programs that most schools in Dubai offer. It leads to a US High School Diploma, not a UK qualification or board certificate.
The full curriculum breakdown is on the main school page.
Want a different learning environment than local private institutions in Dubai? Need online education that travels with you? We work.
Your children can learn at our school whether they’re coming from a CBSE school, a British curriculum program, or a local Emirati school. Transfer credits are accepted from accredited institutions – international enrollees verify records through Scholaro. At least 25% of total coursework must be completed with Legacy to qualify for the diploma.
Virtual school doesn’t mean learning alone, because every student receives a teacher and a peer community. Learners who need extra support can lean on their LSS and schedule additional tutoring. For those who want to move faster can take AP courses or pursue dual enrollment with ASU. The school provides enough options without leaving anyone to figure it out alone.
It’s common for families exploring homeschooling options to come across Legacy first, because on the surface an online school and a home-based curriculum aren’t easy to tell apart. The practical difference is significant though.
Homeschooling is usually parent- or custodian-led. It means that there’s no approved institution behind it, no qualified teachers formally overseeing progress, and typically no recognized diploma at the end. Our school is none of that, because children and their parents get qualified teachers, a structured curriculum, and a US diploma that holds up internationally.
For families who want a remote learning experience and need a recognized diploma, we cover both.
Send a passport or student ID, then sign the agreement, submit payment, and that’s it. Student accounts are usually ready within 48 hours. Transcripts help with placement but can follow after registration if you don’t have them on hand.
Placement tests are available for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8. High school students should submit transcripts for course placement.
