Legacy Online School issues a US high school diploma backed by WASC accreditation. Three tracks lead to it – Standard, Accelerated, and Honors – each with a different credit load and pace. Here’s what each requires, and who actually accepts the diploma once your child has it.

Diploma Tracks

Standard Diploma – 18 credits, 4 years. English 4 credits, Math 4 credits, Science 3 credits, Social Studies 3 credits, Electives 4 credits. Built for students planning to go straight to college.

Who Recognizes the Diploma

A Legacy diploma and transcript are accepted by colleges and universities for admission applications, by employers as proof of high school completion for job applications, and for military enlistment requirements. It’s not a guarantee – each institution or employer makes its own decision, and Legacy can’t promise acceptance at any specific one.

It’s not a GED equivalent. Students complete a full curriculum across four core subject areas rather than a single equivalency exam, and the diploma reflects that.

Students who want college credit before graduating can do it through dual enrollment with Arizona State University or the University of South Florida – high school and college credit earned at the same time, through the same coursework.
